It is with deep sadness that Green Valley Lake lost a long-time resident who made many contributions to our little town. Rick Mull’s employment with the GVMWC began in January 1986 as General Manager and Chief Operator. Rick’s education in geology and work experience in the oil field industry brought many talents to our company that enabled our small water company to increase storage capacity, production capacity and infrastructure improvements which has resulted in replacement of over 50% of our old AC Pipelines throughout the Valley in his 33-year career with our company.
Rick also served on the Local Fire Department and as a board member of our local museum. Rick will be greatly missed and the Staff, Board of Directors and Shareholders of GVMWC wish to express our sincere sympathy to his family and friends and also our sincere thank you for all Rick has done for our company and our community.
Some homes in this community have elevated lead levels in their drinking water. Billings sent in January included a notice regarding how you can check for lead in your home. If you overlooked the notice or would like additional information, copies are available at the Water Company office or below.
